The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, accompanied by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Haider Khazal, visited the General Secretariat of the Central Library on an inspection tour of the Bab al-Zubair college complex. He was received by the Secretary General of the Central Library, Dr. Iman Shamkhi. He briefed the University President on the progress of work in each He reviewed the library’s divisions and units and the nature of the services it provides to students. He listened to the obstacles facing employees in providing these services and directed them to be addressed. He also reviewed the electronic services available on the official website of the Central Library. At the conclusion of the visit, the university president expressed his thanks to all the library workers.
