The Central Library Secretariat at the University of Basra held a meeting of the university's branch libraries.
     During the meeting, many issues related to the organization of work between college libraries and research centers were discussed with the central library, especially with regard to indexing and classification, and overcoming the obstacles that prevent the development of the work of libraries at the university in order to link those libraries with the mother library at the university.
   The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of the Central Library, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq Douai Al-Hajjaj, in the presence of a number of library people officials and representatives of branch libraries at the university
