On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, a panel discussion was held in the Hall of the World Corner in the Central Library, in cooperation with the Cultural Center - University of Basra, entitled Basra’s Audiovisual Heritage, in which Engineer Walid Bashir Abdul Wahed, Director of the World Corner, gave a speech that was about the importance of spreading cultural awareness among Community layers .

Prof. Dr. Abdel Karim Aboud Odeh, Director of the Cultural Center, gave a speech in which he emphasized that this heritage reflects all our values ​​and societal diversity at the level of language and behavior.

Prof. Azhar Dakhil Hassan, from the College of Fine Arts, and Bassem Hussein Ghalib, from the Palace of Culture and Arts in Basra, participated in the discussion.
The seminar was attended by the Secretary of the Central Library, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Hajjaj, a number of library employees, and a conscious and educated group from the layers of Iraqi society because of the importance it represents to them.
