Authoring and publishing problems and the reasons for not spreading the book and its popularity among readers

On the occasion of World Book Day, the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library, in cooperation with the Heritage and Manuscript Investigation Unit, Faculty of Arts, held a workshop under the title (Authority and publishing problems and the reasons for the non-proliferation of books and their prevalence among readers) in the Continuing Education Hall at ten o’clock on Thursday, 5/19/2022.
The workshop, which was moderated by the researcher, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq Dawai Al-Hajjaj, Director of the Heritage and Manuscripts Unit, included several axes, including the first, the historical roots of blogging in the era of the message and the Rashidun and the Umayyad and Abbasid states, and the second axis on the factors that contributed to authorship in those eras.

The third axis is the invention of printing machines and the beginning of the era of printing in the 17th century AD, and the fourth axis is the entry of printing machines in Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq and the contribution to encouraging media scholars in authoring and printing.
The symposium also included a full explanation of problems and solutions, in addition to allocating time for scientific interventions.
