The Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra was honored to visit the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.

The delegation of the University of Basra was represented by the Secretary of the Central Library, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Abdul Hai Dasher, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq Dawai Al-Hajjaj, Advisor to the President of the University for Intellectual Heritage and Book Affairs, and Mr. Yaqoub Muhammad Hassan, representing the Cataloging and Classification Unit in the Central Library.
The delegation was received by Mr. Hassan Al-Araji, Librarian at the Holy Shrine and Head of the Libraries and Publications Division. The two delegations discussed prospects for joint cooperation in order to exchange experiences, support the scientific and cultural movement, and facilitate access to information sources such as books, letters and theses for researchers.
