On 4/10/2022, Dr. Ali Abdel Abbas, professor at the College of Law / University of Basra, delivered a discussion symposium titled "General procedures and concepts in personal status laws and their relationship to the social reality of the individual and the correction of convictions and errors in the interpretation of these laws" in the Central Library / International  Corner Unit. During the presentation, he discussed the issues that a person encounters when entering into an external contract without going through the courts, as well as what rights the wife and children lose in the absence of a judicial contract.
