On 10/24/2022 ,a discussion symposium was held in the Central Library / International Corner Unit entitled “Drugs and their Negative Effects on the Individual and Society”, in which Dr. Raghad Faisal Abdel Wahab, Dr. Araa Jassem Muzaffar and Dr. Sahera Hussein Mahmoud from the Faculty of Arts / Department of History attended. They shed light on the concept of drugs,  its types and their damage to the community and  the  human body  and its health, social, economic and psychological effects. Appropriate solutions, recommendations, and governmental measures necessary to curb this dangerous phenomenon, which have recently spread, . The symposium was attended by a number of students and central library employees.
