Under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Zikra Muhammad Kazem, and under the auspices of Mrs. Suad Naim Abdel-Sayed, Director of the Department, and Mr. Samir Muhammad Jassim, Head of the Continuing Education Division, and in the presence of a group of Central Library employees, the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library held a celebration of the first anniversary of the National Day of Iraqi librarians, which falls on February 19 As I consider this day a national holiday for all Iraqi library workers from northern to southern Iraq, coinciding with the opening of the central library at Mosul University. Congratulations to the Iraqi librarians and all the workers in the Iraqi libraries on their feast day for their efforts and dedicated work in service of our dear students, universities and educational institutions.
