The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center announces, within the framework of the cooperation mechanism signed between the University of Basra (UoB) and the Basra Gas Company (BGC), the availability of summer training opportunities for a period of one month for our dear university students for those who will complete the third academic stage for this year, according to the following and within the required terms of reference next:

The application process begins for those looking for training opportunities during the summer vacation and those seeking to pass the third academic stage for this year by filling out the electronic application form, which can be accessed through the following link:

Note that the last day for submission is 15-5-2023 as a maximum.

The application process requires the preparation of a two- to four-minute video, exclusively in English, in which the student presents himself, sharing an overview of his interests, aspirations, experiences, certificates obtained, if any, and why he believes that he is the right student for the available training opportunity. Where the applicant provides the video link in the application form after uploading it to a website such as YouTube.
The Basra Gas Company selects the most suitable students for training projects based on the uploaded video. Accordingly, it is necessary that the recording be clear and understandable, and that the link to the video be effective and accessible without problems.

The names of those selected for publicly available training projects will be announced through the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Center, in preparation for the start of the summer training process, which is supposed to start on 7-1-2023.
