Under the supervision and presence of the President of the University of Basra,  Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Central Library, in cooperation with the Iranian International Center, held a scientific symposium in the College of Arts under the title (Introducing Iranian universities and methods of applying for postgraduate studies to obtain fellowships and scholarships  on Thursday 11/5/2023. The symposium was attended by the Cultural Attache in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Dean of the College of Arts,  Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Kaabi. Within the framework of scientific cooperation between the two countries, the opportunity to complete postgraduate studies was offered to the top three students at the University of Basra at the expense of the Iranian side within a grant provided by Iranian universities.
     The most significant electronic services offered on the official website of the library at the University of Basra were presented during the symposium.
