Dr. Iyad Muhammad al-Muhammadawi, Director of the Cultural Center at the University of Basra, visited the General Secretariat of the Central Library and met with the Secretary-General, Dr. Zikra Muhammad Kazem.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the possibility of opening a cultural corner for the writings of the martyr al-Sadr (may his honor be sanctified), through which intellectual, knowledgeable and diverse sources and literature could be provided.
The two sides also discussed ways of cooperation to develop the cultural aspect in the central library, in cooperation with the Heritage Authority in Najaf, and the two sides agreed to start various projects and activities soon.
