Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Central Library, M.D. Dhikra Muhammad Kazem, the Director of the Administration, M.M. Samir Muhammad Jassim, and the Director of the Iranian International Center for Education and Studies, M.D. M. Maitham Muhammad Saadoun, the Iranian International Center for Education and Studies, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division of the Central Library, held an administrative workshop on 11/28/2023 for two days entitled (Drafting Official Books and Administrative Orders). It was held in the lecture hall of the International Center, and the workshop was delivered by Mr. Najm Abdel-Wadood Nimah Al-Jazairi, the administration and website official at the Iranian International Center for Education and Studies. The workshop addressed three topics:

1. The first axis: An explanation of how to make a model for official books and administrative orders and what are the basic pillars in making the model
2. The second axis: A detailed explanation of the differences between the official book and the administrative order in terms of wording and arrangement
3. The third axis: Explaining the basic pillars of writing official correspondence and the most important controls that must be followed in drafting official correspondence.
The workshop was for administrative employees working in the Central Library. The workshop aimed to give an important introduction to official books and administrative orders and the basic differences between them and to clarify how to create an official model.
This workshop is the first part of another complementary workshop that prepares participants to participate in a basic workshop specialized in detailed methods of editing books and administrative orders.
