The University of Basra supports the rehabilitation and operation of the dairy products manufacturing plant in Basra

With the support of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the dairy products manufacturing plant affiliated with the Food Research and Consumer Protection Unit in the College of Agriculture, which includes yogurt and cheeses subject to laboratory tests according to Iraqi standard specifications, has been rehabilitated and operated. The current production capacity is 120 kg, God willing. It can be expanded to 3 tons per day if large tanks are connected. The product is released in the private marketing outlets in the College of Agriculture, including the Bab Al-Zubair outlet, the marketing center, and the rest of the university’s outlets.
