The President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr., opened The honorable Saad Shaheen Hammadi presented the electronic library at the Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language, in the presence of a high-level delegation from the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to the director of the Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language, the center’s staff, the Secretary General of the Central Library, and an elite group of university professors and employees.
This library is considered the first of its kind at the University of Basra, as it is linked electronically with the library of the Holy Shrine of Razavi and includes a very large number of Arabic, Persian and English sources in various sciences and specializations.

A group of books and sources can be viewed directly on the library’s computers (off-line), and the largest number of sources can be identified by accessing the official website via the Internet and with special powers that were provided to the center in coordination with the Holy Razavi Shrine.
