Under the chairmanship of the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Basra University Council meeting was held in the central library, the Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language, in the presence of the deans of the university’s faculties and the Iranian cultural attaché, Mr. Malki. During the meeting, a detailed presentation was made by Ms. Hana Hamad Lafta, the website administrator, for the electronic services provided by the website. The Central Library for students and researchers and how to benefit from all the digital libraries on the site. After that, the University Council was introduced to the digital electronic library at the Center for Studies and Teaching of the Persian Language by Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Abdul Hadi Maatouq, which includes hundreds of thousands of sources in various specializations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the University recommended that teachers and students benefit from the huge number of electronic resources.
