The General Secretariat of the Central Library held an introductory symposium on the Al Ain Social Welfare Foundation, its goals, achievements, and the services it provides to orphans, the poor, and the sick. It is an independent, non-profit institution that operates under the patronage and authorization of His Eminence the Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani.

The symposium was attended by Eng. Ahmed Majbal Abdullah, director of the institution in the Abu Al-Khasib branch. The aim of the symposium was to introduce the academic class to the activities of the institution.

At the conclusion of the symposium, the attendees’ questions were answered, in addition to distributing many charity boxes. The symposium was well received by all attendees.
