General secretariat of the central Library organised a course entitled technical procedures for books resources. The course aimed to develop abilities and skills of sub- libraries stuff in the colleges and centres in the University of Basrah, and education upgrading , support the scientific movement. This course is presented by mrs Maha Matooq Mohammed Head of library trustees, course included technical procedures which followed in the Library such selecting the resources and according to the library’s need , the type and the sources making technical procedures on it from registering in special papers in addition to indexing of sources to descriptive and objective catalogue.
