The Central Library Secretariat at the University of Basra held a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and his grandson Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq, peace be upon him. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Iman Shamkhi, Librarian and Administration Director, and a number of Central Library employees. The ceremony included the fragrant biography of the Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad (PBUH), and his grandson, Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq, poetry poems, chants, and religious and cultural competitions related to the occasion. At the conclusion of the ceremony, gifts were distributed to the participants.
