This morning, the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, inaugurated a vital and main street linking the newly opened internal section and the College of Arts in the Bab Al-Zubair college complex, after carrying out the operations of expanding it, paving it, planting its approaches, and implementing night lighting operations for it.

The university president said, “The opening of this street will relieve traffic congestion, especially since it overlooks the back gate opposite the university district. Our furnishing of the street, including sidewalks, rain sewers, and landscaping, will contribute to providing a healthy and safe environment for our students on foot. There are many projects that we will open.” “Soon, it will be related to increasing laboratories and classrooms in many of the university’s colleges.”
