The University of Basra commemorates the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood and stands in denunciation of the attacks on the Lebanese people

This morning, the University of Basra commemorated the first anniversary of the launch of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, which was initiated by the Palestinian resistance factions in early October 2023, within a religious forum that also included a stand in solidarity against the continuing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. In the presence of a large gathering of deans, professors, employees, college students, primary school students, representatives of the Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Authority, and civil society organizations and institutions.In a special statement, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Rashk, said:

Today we stand in remembrance of the blood of the martyrs of You, the flood of Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif, and in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples by reading the supplication (the people of the borders) narrated on the authority of Imam Ali Ibn Al-Hussein - Zain Al-Abidin, peace be upon him - which calls for supporting the oppressed and praying for the destruction of the oppressors. Today we stand to let our voices ring out. Let us convey to the whole world: We are all Hassan Nasrallah. We are all Abu Mahdi al-Mahan Das. We are all Qassem Sulaymani. Victory and glory belong to all Muslims.
