The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra received a delegation of students and teachers from Al-Safa Government School with international standards as part of a scientific school trip. The visit included a tour of the library's facilities, departments, the circumstances of its establishment, the history of its emergence, and the valuable and precious books it contains, which represent an important intellectual legacy in Iraqi civilization and how this ancient library contributed to educating the individual and Iraqi society, and the distinguished services the library provides to undergraduate and graduate students and researchers of science and knowledge from various Iraqi universities, including books, sources, periodicals, and scientific references, whether paper or electronic.
