For sustainable development in the field of education .. University of Basra receives Al-Rehab Girls' Secondary School

In order to implement the United Nations Development and Sustainability Program, the General Secretariat of the Central Library received a delegation from Al-Rehab Girls' Secondary School in Al-Zubair District, west of the city, as part of a scientific school trip that included a group of female students and school staff.

Regarding the visit, the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Iman Shamkhi Jaber, said, "The visit aimed to inform the students about the library's facilities and departments, the circumstances of its establishment, the history of its emergence, and the valuable and precious books it contains, which represent an important cognitive legacy in Iraqi civilization, and how this ancient library contributed to the sustainability of knowledge and the education of the individual and Iraqi society, and the indispensable services it provides to undergraduate and graduate students and researchers of science and knowledge from various Iraqi universities, in addition to books, sources, periodicals, and scientific references, whether paper or electronic."
