General Secretariat of the central Library has Organised an educational seminar about causes and effects of illegal immigration and ways to confront, in a cooperation with college of Law in University of Basrah. Seminar is presented by dr. Firas Abbas Hashim and aimed to spread awareness culture risk of illegal immigration and its society, political and economic impacts among academic circles. Seminar includes defining illegal immigration and the measures which taken by countries to reduce this from it , humanitarian violations against immigrants during the immigration trip, sanctions imposed by the countries because of their crossed the international borders without a license or official permission or with forged documents, documents and visas, in addition to migrants expose various types of crimes in the countries of the diaspora,countries are not able to protect them legally.
