The President of Basra University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, inaugurated the virtual oil laboratory at Al-Maqal University in the presence of its President, Dr. Badr Nima Al-Badran, and official and academic figures.
The laboratory included a number of devices and models that simulate the stages of oil extraction and the operations carried out on it, such as isolation, refining, and others. The attendees also watched a visual presentation that carried within it the promising future of the oil industry in Iraq.
During his speech at the opening of the laboratory, the President of Basra University praised the progress achieved by Al-Maqal University in the field of quality and excellence in educational outcomes in its theoretical and practical aspects through advanced laboratories that keep pace with modernity and lead to integration in the teaching method that blends theoretical information with practical application through cadres with scientific and academic experience.
