General secretariat of Central Library has received delegation from secondary school (Althwar lel baneen) in Basrah city through scientific trip includes a number of students and staff of school . General secretariat of central Library dr. Iman Shamkhi jabber said about this visit aimed to inform students about the Library ś facilities, departments and the circumstances of its establishment, what contain from precious and valuable books that represent an important cultural heritage in Iraqi civilisation, how contribute in sustaining knowledge and education the individual and Iraqi society, in addition to what gives from services to undergraduate and graduate students and researchers of science and knowledge from different Iraqi Universities in addition to books , references, periodicals and scientific references, whether paper or electronic. The delegation toured the library’s corridors accompanied by the head of the Beneficiary services Department mr. Ihsan Khudur Obaid. Scientific clips were also shown to develop the studentś skills
