The Central Library Secretariat, in cooperation with the College of Arts, organized an introductory seminar on the social services provided by Al-Ain Foundation for Social Care, which has received the blessing and permission of His Eminence, the Supreme Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husayni al-Sistani, may his shadow be extended. The seminar, presented by Mr. Ahmed Mujbil Abdullah, aimed to introduce the foundation and the services it provides to orphans, the poor and the displaced. The seminar included an introduction to the history of the establishment of the foundation and a presentation of a program that explains all health services, the construction of clinics and hospitals, the construction of homes, the care and sponsorship of orphans, the distribution of salaries to needy families, helping the sick and wounded, providing them with treatment and performing surgeries inside and outside the country. It also touched on how to contribute and donate to the foundation through donation boxes or in-kind donations to the foundation’s center spread throughout all districts of the governorate.
