University of Basrah organised seminar about acquire new skills in English language. The Cntral Library Secretariat organized seminar entitled squire English language skills . It is presented by mr Samir Jasim and mr zainab Ghasan , the seminar aimed to develop an employees in English, according to continuous pursuit to develop staff and to introduce the way and manner of using English at job , in addition to develop their language through using scientific application, which contributes to raising their skills and enhancing their capabilities. The seminar includes theoretical lectures and practical activities, such as how to listen , comprehension, understanding, how to translate sentences, create basic sentences and display passages. It lasts for four days , the workshop organizers said about the importance of this course , how to have positive effect on improving the level of services provided to students meeting thier needs.
