The Central Library held a memorial service for the Librarian during the period (2014-2018), Dr. Abdulrahman Jari Mardan. The memorial service was attended by the family of the deceased, some professors from the College of Education for Humanities, and a large number of Central Library employees. The service included verses from the Holy Quran, recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah, touching words, poems of mourning for the deceased, and a display of photos of the deceased with the library employees. O God, have mercy on our deceased with great mercy, forgive him, and grant him a place in Your spacious gardens, and replace his home with a better home, and inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
