The Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra concluded the training course for female employees entitled “Rulings of Reciting the Holy Quran”, which was organized in cooperation with the Center for Persian Language Studies and Teaching. The course, which was presented by the judge of the Quranic competitions, Mrs. Nour Ali Hussein, included theoretical and practical lessons in recitation, the arts of Tajweed and their general rules, mastering the articulation of letters and correct breathing, the correct formation of sentences when stopping, starting and ending, contemplation and reflection, the skill of good listening, and the etiquette of recitation. The course lasted for three months. At the end of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants.
