The Central Library Secretariat, in cooperation with the National Youth Council and the Iraqi Bar Association in Basra, organized a seminar entitled "Racial Discrimination and its Impact on Mental Health." The seminar, presented by lawyer Ahmed Riyadh Al-Dulaimi, aimed to reduce all types of racial discrimination that we face in society. The seminar included a discussion of international instruments regarding racial discrimination, some legal articles in the current Iraqi Penal Code, and also the types of discrimination and their effects on the psychological aspect.
