The Central Library at the University of Basra organized a workshop entitled "Conversation and Communication Skills in English for Effective Professional Communication in the Library Environment." The workshop aimed to develop the efficiency and abilities of library staff in using English in daily work situations and to enhance their professional communication skills with users. The workshop, presented by instructor Samir Mohammed Jassim, covered conversation techniques and communication skills exercises, with practical applications from the library work environment.
