The Central Library at the University of Basra held a farewell ceremony for its senior librarian, Ms. Maha Maatouq Mohammed, who retired after a lifetime of dedicated and tireless service. She spared no effort in raising the standards of the library's work. Attendees expressed their gratitude and appreciation for her contributions during her time at the library through words of thanks and appreciation, as well as poems, in a gesture of recognition and loyalty, all within a warm and loving atmosphere. On this occasion, we say to her: You have fulfilled your humanitarian mission to the fullest extent and completed your task in the most admirable way. We offer you our boundless thanks, our immeasurable gratitude, and bouquets of love, appreciation, and affection, along with our constant prayers that God grant you health and well-being and bless you in your future endeavors.
