The Central Library at the University of Basra has launched a humanitarian donation campaign to support the Lebanese and Iranian people, as part of its efforts to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and mutual support with Muslim nations during these challenging times.

The campaign aims to collect monetary and in-kind donations to provide assistance to those in need, in response to the call from the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf, which urged all members of society to actively contribute to this humanitarian initiative, stand with those affected, provide them with aid, and alleviate their suffering.

Dr. Ahmed Razzaq Al-Fartousi, Director of the Central Library, stated that the donations will be delivered through reliable channels and in coordination with the relevant authorities to those in need as quickly as possible.
