Central Library Secretariat at University of Basrah launched financial donations to support both of Lebanon and Iran to strengthen the support and solidarity with Muslims people in this circumstance. It aimed to help need people, in response to the call of religious authority in Najaf Al - Ashraf , which encourages all men of the community to contribute in this humanitarian initiative and stand with affected people. 
Secretary General of the Central Library mentioned that the financial donations which reach through reliable channels, in coordination with the relevant authorities to those who deserve it as soon as possible.
