The Central Library at the University of Basra welcomed students and faculty members from the Department of Cinematic and Television Arts at the College of Fine Arts.

The Central Library at the University of Basra hosted a visit from students and faculty members from the Department of Cinematic and Television Arts at the College of Fine Arts, as part of an educational tour of one of the university's cultural landmarks. The visit included a tour of all sections of the library, and presentations were shown on the history and heritage of Basra Governorate. Dr. Ahmed Razzaq Al-Fartousi, the Director of the Central Library, stated that the students were introduced to the library's various departments, its history, and its valuable collection of books, which represents a significant intellectual legacy of Iraqi civilization. He added that the venerable Central Library has contributed to the sustainability of knowledge and the education of individuals and Iraqi society. He emphasized the indispensable services it provides to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers from various Iraqi universities, in addition to its extensive collection of books, resources, periodicals, and scientific references, both in print and electronic formats.
