The Central Library Secretariat organized course on (fundamentals of work in libraries and information centres) with a cooperation of college of Law at the University of Basrah, it aimed to develop the participant’s skills and raise their level of competence from the staff of the college of Law Library in keeping with modern developments in field of libraries and information centres, and improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries. It presented by mr Sabah Majed and mr Ali Mhair Kareem from the college of Arts , theoretical and practical aspects of the fundamentals of work . This includes organising office groups, method of providing information services and modern office work mechanisms, it lasted five days and the participants were interaction , those who have reviewed the latest practices in the field of library and information science, this course comes as part of the Central Library’s commitment to implementing Specialized training programs.
