The Continuing Education Unit in the Central Library, in cooperation with the International  Corner Unit, held a specialized library course for the period from 28/8-1/9/2022 entitled (Indexing and Classification - Modern Cataloging - Koha System) for central library staff in private universities and central library workers under the auspices of the Secretary-General The Central Library is run by Dr. Mohsen Abdel Hai Dasher, under the supervision of  Mr.Samir Muhammad Jassim, Director of the Continuing Education Unit in the Central Library. A number of professors from the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies / College of Arts and specialists from the Central Library attended the course, and the number of participants was (22) participants. The aim  of the course is to develop the capabilities of the staff and rehabilitate them in theory and practice in indexing and classifying the sources with the latest methods to reach good and satisfactory levels in providing the best services to the beneficiaries in the service of our dear university.
