
The General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the College of Arts, organized a symposium on human values and variables of social and cultural reality. The symposium aims to explain the concept of values, their types and divisions, and their relationship to the social and cultural reality of the individual, family and society, and the human behavior that follows that changes or alters according to those value transformations. The symposium included three axes: values and their relationship to religion, the concept of value and transformations of the contemporary world, and value, its concept and divisions. The symposium was attended by professors from the Department of Philosophy: Assistant Professor Risal Hussein Abdul Latif, Dr. Hassan Mohammed Jassim, and Dr. Ghaida Habib Ali.
