University of Basra organizes a symposium on human values ​​and social and cultural variables

The General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the College of Arts, organized an educational symposium on human values ​​and variables of social and cultural reality. The symposium aimed to demonstrate the importance of adhering to noble human moral values ​​in societies and the necessity of changing some wrong concepts and behaviors among individuals. The symposium addressed the extent to which human values ​​are related to the true Islamic religion and stipulated in the Human Rights Charter signed by members of the United Nations, and the impact of transformations and variables in the contemporary world on those values. The symposium was attended by professors from the Department of Philosophy, Assistant Professor Risal Hussein Abdul Latif, Dr. Hassan Mohammed Jassim, and Dr. Ghaida Habib Ali.
