On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, the President of the University of Basra,  Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and a delegation from Ferdowsi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran opened an exhibition of scientific output from Basra University professors at the Central Library as part of the events of the joint cultural week of Ferdowsi University.
