An introductory symposium on the central library for  Ferdowsi University was held in  the Central Library of the University of Basra as part of the activities of the second cultural week between the two institutions. the duties performed by the library, the scope of its divisions, and the services offered to researchers and students. He also discussed the restrictions on publishing scientific findings in regional and global journals, as well as the extent to which these restrictions affected the university's standing among other foreign universities.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the Central Library at the University of Basra's electronic services were offered at the Iranian side's request, and the door was opened for conversation between the two sides to take advantage of scientific experience.
