The General Secretariat of the Central Library received a delegation from the College of Education, Al-Qurna, Department of Arabic Language, as part of a scientific trip that included a group of professors and students. Regarding the visit, the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Iman Shamkhi Jaber, said, "The visit aimed to inform the students about the library's facilities and departments, the circumstances of its establishment, the history of its emergence, and the valuable and precious books it contains, which represent an important cognitive legacy in Iraqi civilization, and how this ancient library contributed to the development and sustainability of knowledge in society and the education of individuals, and the indispensable services it provides to undergraduate and graduate students and researchers of science and knowledge from various Iraqi universities, in addition to providing books, sources, periodicals, and scientific references, whether paper or electronic."
