General secretariat of the central Library in University of Basrah has organised awareness seminar in a cooperation with community police in Basrah to explain drug risks and its effect on individual and society, according to sustainable development which aimed to educating the academic community the risks of misuse of medical supplies, in addition to get rid of toxic materials. This seminar is presented by colonial Muntazar Kadhum Nema types of psychotropic substances, the concept of abuse and addiction and it’s effect on the nervous system and neurotransmitters for human and sensory and vital organs of the body, use and promotion of substances prohibited law including drugs.
