The Center for Persian Language Studies and Teaching, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the Central Library, organized a scientific symposium entitled "Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and the Flood of Al-Aqsa." The symposium, in which Dr. Sajid al-Rikabi and Dr. Muhammad al-Jaza'iri from the Faculty of Law participated, aimed to shed light on the ideological and jihadist structure of the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and to review his journey in resisting the Zionist occupation, inspired by the approach of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in patience and sacrifice. The symposium also addressed his role in establishing a resistance generation that united Lebanese people of all religions and sects, and whose influence extended to resistance fighters in Palestine and throughout the Islamic world. The symposium coincided with the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood epic in Gaza, which embodied the continuation of the spirit of resistance against the Israeli occupation, and affirmed that the ember ignited by the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah with his pure blood will remain alive in the conscience of the nation. The two lecturers reviewed the historical, ideological, intellectual and strategic aspects of the resistance ideology in Hezbollah and in the contemporary Palestinian experience. The symposium witnessed widespread interaction from the attendees, who praised its content and the important analytical and cognitive insights it provided.
